Molecular-genetic basis of Rubinstein–Taybi syndrome

چکیده

Rubinstein–Taybi syndrome is a multisystem pathology characterized by mental retardation and delayed physical development in combination with set of phenotypic features, which make up recognizable pattern the disease. This review literature highlights molecular‑genetic basis presumed pathogenesis syndrome, considers questions geno‑phenotypic correlations differential diagnosis group pathologies called chromatinopathies.

Inm-6: Molecular Genetic Basis of Infertility

Background: Sexual reproduction affords the stands for conserving genetic characteristics and sequentially, genetic inconsistency may influence the capability to imitate. Materials and Methods: Research was conducted by subject in PubMed and other databases. Results: A significant number of genotypes have been related with infertility phenotypes and evaluation of precise genes in humans and mod...

Silver-Russell syndrome: genetic basis and molecular genetic testing

Imprinted genes with a parent-of-origin specific expression are involved in various aspects of growth that are rooted in the prenatal period. Therefore it is predictable that many of the so far known congenital imprinting disorders (IDs) are clinically characterised by growth disturbances. A noteable imprinting disorder is Silver-Russell syndrome (SRS), a congenital disease characterised by int...

Molecular and Genetic Basis of Inherited Nephrotic Syndrome

Nephrotic syndrome is an heterogeneous disease characterized by increased permeability of the glomerular filtration barrier for macromolecules. Podocytes, the visceral epithelial cells of glomerulus, play critical role in ultrafiltration of plasma and are involved in a wide number of inherited and acquired glomerular diseases. The identification of mutations in nephrin and other podocyte genes ...

Genetic Basis of Brugada Syndrome

Brugada syndrome is a rare cardiac disorder described as a clinical entity in 1992. It is characterized by typical electrocardiographic alteration in a structurally normal heart, and associated with a high risk of sudden cardiac death. Brugada syndrome affects mainly young adult males and patients can present a wide range of symptoms or even remain asymptomatic. The first genetic basis responsi...

Molecular basis for genetic recombination.

HE past few decades have witnessed the successive description in biochemiTcal-or “molecular”-terms of the great formal entities of classical genetics. The lickage group was early identified with the objectively seen chromosome, then the gene itself, in its wild and mutant forms, more and more closely related to the linear DNA regions thereof. We have seen the identification of the gene product ...
